Nagy Design LLC is the professional art and design studio of Ryan Nagy—a home for original artwork, visual research, digital media, and client-facing design practice. The studio provides digital design and information coordination that carries projects from measured conditions and early concepts into coherent, buildable, and clearly communicated outcomes. Services include information modeling, CAD and BIM, architectural visualization, design and drafting, construction documentation, websites, identity systems, vector graphics, publications, and other digital media. Each engagement is organized to give clients a wider vantage point—connecting site context, drawings, models, renderings, and machine-assisted analysis so decisions can be made with greater clarity before anything is built or published.

Build toward synthesis.

Nagy Design is a practice of synthesis: gathering information from many vantage points, recognizing the relationships among the parts, and forming a coherent whole that people can understand, test, and act upon.

The Greek prefix syn means “with” or “together.” Synthesis is more than accumulation; it joins distinct elements in meaningful relationship. The sun offers a fitting visual metaphor—a source of illumination and orientation around which many perspectives can be organized without losing their individuality.

In an increasingly overspecialized society, the studio adopts Buckminster Fuller’s comprehensivist perspective. Technical, artistic, human, environmental, and historical considerations are brought into the same field of view—not to know everything, but to understand enough of the whole to make wiser decisions about its parts.

Everything can be approached as information—or, in the language of the studio, inner formation. Information becomes useful when it reshapes understanding. Through observation, comparison, modeling, and communication, complexity is translated into plans, visualizations, identities, publications, websites, fabricated objects, and other intelligible forms.

About
Ryan Nagy.

Ryan Nagy is a multidisciplinary designer working across computer-aided design, information modeling, architectural visualization, digital communication, fabrication, and machine-assisted creative systems.

Raised in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, Ryan developed an early sensitivity to natural patterns, practical systems, and the interdependence of parts and wholes. Experiences with city-building software, technical drawing, CAD, construction documentation, artistic fabrication, and emerging technology gradually formed a practice centered on synthesis.

Rather than remaining confined to a single specialization, Ryan approaches each assignment comprehensively—connecting detail with context, technical precision with imagination, and information with the people who must ultimately understand and use it.
