The InterstellarLighthouse
A 21st Century Synthesis of the Great Pyramid of Giza
My inquiry began with a sense of mystery and wonder toward the Great Pyramid. Ancient Aliens introduced me to researchers with unconventional perspectives, and a series of synchronicities around my research drew me toward four books and a wider collection of sources.
The Interstellar Lighthouse is the synthesis I assembled from those encounters and the skills I had developed in my career as a digital designer and blueprint designer. I follow the pyramid’s geometry, chambers, materials, water systems, resonance, and celestial alignments as parts of a connected design—offering my own interpretation of how architecture, Earth’s natural forces, and the heavens might meet.

A hymn in stone.

Proportion as lexicon.
The Interstellar Lighthouse reads the Great Pyramid as a hymn in stone—a record for posterity, carrying knowledge beyond the rise and fall of civilizations. In this reading, its proportional language encodes a codex of the “universal program”: the recurring patterns of number, form, rhythm, and relationship that connect the parts to the whole.
Beginning with proportion and the foundation stone, the inquiry follows water through the subterranean works, then rises through the Queen’s Chamber, Grand Gallery, King’s Chamber, shafts, and capstone. Each chapter examines a part of the monument while returning to the relationships that make the whole.
Measured dimensions and material choices sit beside hydraulic and acoustic models, radio-frequency analogies, and accounts of ancient cosmology. The forthcoming digital edition extends this inquiry with drawings and interactive exhibits, giving readers ways to examine the questions for themselves.
The inquiry also reaches beyond the stone—to the quadrivium’s arts of number, geometry, music, and cosmology, the symbolism of Orion, and stories of vanished civilizations. These wider chapters ask how a culture preserves knowledge, how its view of the cosmos shapes its buildings, and what an ancient monument might still contribute to our own search for meaning.
The book presents an interpretive model, inviting curiosity and scrutiny together. Its proposed functions remain questions for measurement, simulation, and physical reconstruction; readers are invited to follow the argument and weigh its sources.

Dimensions, ratios, materials, and orientation form the technical grammar through which the proposed instrument can be modeled and tested.

The Lighthouse looks outward from the forces of Earth toward the possibility of communication across space. Modern radio astronomy gives that inquiry a precise reference: the 21-centimeter line of neutral hydrogen.

The universe supplies the marker.
A small change in the relative spin configuration of a neutral hydrogen atom’s electron and proton can release a radio photon. This hyperfine transition produces the familiar 21-centimeter line. Because neutral hydrogen is widespread between the stars, the line gives astronomers a way to study interstellar gas. For the Lighthouse, the significance is conceptual: a language of measurement can begin with properties of matter shared across the cosmos. Geometry, frequency and orientation become ways to formulate a question that extends beyond a single culture.
SETI / The search for intelligence
Listening near the hydrogen line.
SETI—the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence—looks for signs of technology beyond Earth. In 1960, Frank Drake’s Project Ozma listened near the hydrogen line toward two nearby stars. Hydrogen and the hydroxyl radical also inspired the “water hole” idea: a relatively quiet microwave region between their emission lines, imagined as a gathering place for civilizations that know water. Within the book’s hypothesis, “astrophysical computer” asks whether an architecture could organize terrestrial processes in relation to celestial directions and physical reference scales. The hydrogen line supplies a modern comparison and a testable question; it does not establish that the Great Pyramid generated, received or transmitted a 21-centimeter signal.

From lunar distance, Apollo astronauts could see Earth’s full disk suspended in darkness. In low Earth orbit, the view is closer: a curving horizon, immense weather systems and the atmosphere tracing the edge of the planet. Many astronauts describe a profound shift in perspective, often called the overview effect, a term introduced by Frank White in 1987. Looking from the safety of a spacecraft into the surrounding vacuum, they see a living world sustained within a thin atmosphere. Accounts emphasize awe, the absence of visible political borders, the interdependence of life and a stronger sense of shared human identity. That is the philosophical horizon of the Lighthouse: a profound connection to the cosmos can enlarge our sense of possibility while bringing our obligations into focus. The stars invite a felt sense of infinite possibility; the Earth asks what kind of civilization will answer. Our capacity to explore, listen and perhaps one day communicate depends on how well we sustain the living world from which every such effort begins.
The geophysical question is how a world works. The astrophysical question is how it belongs to a larger universe. The human question is how we learn to belong with it.
