Two motions run the universe. Our technology picked the wrong one.
This is the summit of the system. Every mechanism above — the anomaly point, the gradients, the spiral pipe — is a special case of one dichotomy: centripetal, inward-winding, cooling motion builds; centrifugal, outward-pressing, heating motion breaks down. Schauberger insisted Nature builds almost exclusively with the first, and that we power almost our entire civilisation with the second.
Slide between the two. One motion draws the medium inward, winds it tighter, cools it toward its anomaly pointforthcoming, and orders it. The other flings it outward, heats it, loosens it, and exhausts it. Schauberger’s entire program is the claim that these are not equal-and-opposite conveniences but a hierarchy: implosion is generative, explosion merely spends.

The colour of the building force: Prater violet
Schauberger claimed the two motions announce themselves as light — and Coats records the observation precisely. Above a correctly imploding water-jet appear "vertical plumes of bluish and white, cold light... the result of intense ionisation," while below spreads "a reddish glow." The blue-white, he held, is biomagnetism — the upbuilding, levitational life-energy; the red is electricism, which has a degenerative effect.
The specific tint he pursued — the colour that meant the building force had reached full intensity — was a luminous blue-violet he came to call Prater violet, after the hazy evening light over Vienna’s Prater park. It sat at the very edge of the visible, shading into the ultraviolet, at the pinnacle of the levitational vortex where, in his words, the cold light "soars upward as the biomagnetic field discharges."
Strip the vitalism and something real remains, as ever. Cold blue-white light above an aerated, cavitating jet is not fantasy — it is the family of sonoluminescence and ionisation glowforthcoming that does accompany violent bubble collapse, and blue genuinely marks the high-energy end of the spectrum while red marks the low. He even noticed that textbooks instinctively colour magnetic fields blue and electric fields red. The colour-coding was doing real perceptual work — even if the "biomagnetic levitation" it was taken to prove never materialised on any instrument.
Centripetal and centrifugal motion are genuinely different regimes with opposite thermal and organisational tendencies. Vortex flow really does cool, concentrate and order; turbulent explosive flow really does heat and disperse. Cavitation really does emit cold light, blue-shifted at higher energy.
That inward, cooling, spiral motion is a distinct and under-exploited engineering strategy — and that copying it yields low-shear, low-energy machines. This is the durable core, and it is quietly arriving as biomimicry.
That implosion accesses a levitational "biomagnetic" life-force — measured by no instrument — and that its light (Prater violet) is the visible sign of free, upbuilding energy. A beautiful reading of real phenomena, resting on a force that has never been detected.
Coats describes Schauberger’s conviction that correct motion produced specific colours and cold blue light, which he read as evidence of the building, implosive force.
Prof. Felix Ehrenhaft is reported to have rated implosive force at 127 times its explosive equivalent — the single unreproduced number the machines rest on.
