See the music.
Hear the geometry.

HelioSynth turns harmonic proportion, vibration, rhythm, acoustics, and generative composition into a collection of instruments that can be seen, heard, and tested directly in the browser.

The new edition preserves the complete HelioSynth Cathedral and its seven self-contained sound engines. Audio remains silent until a visitor deliberately begins a session; no microphone, account, tracking system, or download is required.

01 / New public edition

A course,
an instrument,
an exhibit.

The Cathedral is the complete guided experience: Pythagorean ratios, the monochord, tuning systems, chord structures, phase relationships, polyrhythm, acoustic design, the music of the spheres, and a workshop of browser instruments.

The engines translate Ryan Nagy’s Sonic Pi studies into interactive Web Audio systems. Visitors can isolate layers, adjust parameters, compare structures, and listen to the same compositional logic from the inside.

Number becomes interval. Interval becomes rhythm. Rhythm becomes architecture.

02 / Featured instrument · Meditation Engine 006

The Still
Chamber.

A binaural-beat, isochronic-tone, drone, noise-bed, and breath-pacing instrument. Choose a quiet carrier, pulse rate, scene, and session length; the sound is generated locally on the visitor’s device.

  • Binaural, isochronic, or combined modes
  • Deep drone, hum, halo, tide, and colored-noise layers
  • Breath guide and timed meditation scenes
Listen responsibly.Begin at low volume. Binaural mode requires headphones; isochronic mode works through speakers. Stop if pulsing sound feels uncomfortable. This is an exploratory listening instrument, not medical treatment.

03 / Featured instrument · Patch 001

The Ascension
drone field.

A complementary generative engine built from layered pads, harmonic motion, slow modulation, and a visual field that responds to the composition. This second public demo shows the more performative side of HelioSynth.

The frame loads only when it approaches the viewport. Sound still requires a deliberate click.

Seven ways
into the signal.

Each engine is a standalone artifact with its own controls, visualization, process notes, and global stop control. Open any engine directly or follow the full Cathedral as a continuous course.
